Like every other day of school Chiara Löschinger from Clausthal-Zellerfeld and Paul Kutz from Osterode leave their home in the morning. Only today they are not going to school. They take the chance of the Girls’ and Boys’ Day, to get a taste of the working world. At 08:00 a.m. both are welcomed to our electrical production department by our Head of Electrical manufacturing Mr. Markus Klaßen and his staff Mr. Jan Römermann and Mr. Dominik Ilemann. After a short safety instruction there they are.

Chiara and Paul first learn in theory how to program a microcontroller to control LEDs. They both did not expect that the heads are spinning right in the morning. Then finally practice and Chiara and Paul could watch immediately at the electrical circuits if they completed the programming control correctly.

Paul is already the second time with us during the Boys’ Day and also this year it was interesting for him and he enjoyed it. Chiara had Mrs. Birgit Hess shown her around the lab and she assisted proactive. After a busy day, Chiara and Paul said goodbye at 02:00 p.m. and went home satisfied.
